Punk advertising

The first post will be to introduce "punk advertising"

advertising that some say unethical, immoral and may cause the brand/company massive law suit problems.

question is "HOW is it done?"

here's one done tastefully:

Click on it to enlarge it and read the small prints.

I find it wickedly clever and stealing "awareness" of their competitor's brand by imposing koozies of their own packaging.

viral marketing works especially when you are contained in a crowd, subjected to peers around you doing a certain action, imitating a certain cause.

totally differs from those provocative ads that uses the play of colour representing their competitors. needless to mention brands.

well done shiner :)

The toilet where everyone is a suspect

indeed.

Here's one medium of advertising that's yet to be but highly potential: The Toilet.
I mean we can't escape it.

I remembered the days where we wanted FREE advertising and in order to capture eyeballs in the cheapest possible way was to place them on toilet doors, mirrors and hand dryers etc and pray somehow someone will talk about it.

and then I thought one interesting concept could actually set the words spreading.

Effortless red soap and the game comes to play.

now, that's what I called making a SCENE from a medium.
